With a formidable reputation and a wealth of experience with nano- and micro-particle formulation, Zubris brings a dynamic vision and unparalleled expertise to the Spoke team.

A highly accomplished scientist, Kim began her career in research programs at Cornell University, Lehigh University, and the Penn State Hershey Medical School, specializing in biological engineering, tissue culture, and biomaterials. Her PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Boston University expanded her expertise to include polymer synthesis, nanoparticle formulation, and pre-clinical efficacy studies, particularly for lung and breast cancer treatments.

Kim’s private sector experience includes roles at Particle Sciences, Inc., initially in the New Technologies group, later advancing to lead Formulation Development, and as Senior Director at Lubrizol Life Sciences, where she oversaw 75+ ongoing formulation and drug device development programs, emphasizing solubility enhancement and excipient technologies, navigating from research to pilot-scale manufacturing. Kim's contributions earned her a National Institutes of Health Fellowship in Quantitative Biology and Physiology.

Kim is well-regarded for her contributions to the intersection of science and health.
